The LA CLOCHE & MANITOULIN RAILWAY is a semi-fictional, semi-factual HO scale model railway layout, currently under construction by Chief Engineer Andy Dunn of Bolton, Ontario, Canada.
The layout is set in July, 1974, in Northern Ontario, and the layout includes both the fictional LC&M running from Turbine to Espanola Jct., then to Little Current, and from Whitefish Falls to Spanish and on to Elliot Lake, the North Shore Railway Heritage running excursions out of Espanola, and the very real Canadian Pacific Railway's Webbwood Subdivision which runs from Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie as it existed in 1974.

Every good model railway needs a good premise to be realistic. It needs both a history and a future, as well as a valid economic purpose. Railways aren't just created because somebody likes the scenery! The premise for this layout is based on the history of the Algoma Eastern Railway, constructed between 1900 and 1913 from Sudbury to Little Current.
